Title: The Unification of Science and Humanity : Agony and Ecstasy East of Eden
Author: Peter Fong
Description: The Unification of Science and Humanity: Agony and Ecstasy East of Eden presents a provocative theory that unifies science and the humanities. This book, by a new discontinuous evolution theory, explains the origin of the human "soul", showing how man developed humanity and thus cleansed himself of bestiality. Virtue, evil, truth, beauty, liberty, equality, justice, democracy . . . . are no longer concepts descended from Heaven, nor self-evident truths; they emerge ultimately from the hard sciences.

He is best known in the scientific community for his statistical theory of nuclear fission. He is also a freelance columnist contributing to the New Your Times, the Christian Science Monitor, the San Francisco Chronicle, the Atlanta Journal and the Atlanta Constitution.
