Title: Media Law in Tennessee
Author: Dorothy A. Bowles
Description:

MEDIA LAW IN TENNESSEE contains an overview of mass communications law in general and a more comprehensive review of Tennessee statutes and cases on legal rights of the mass media. The intended audiences are journalists, both print and broadcast, and students interested in law, news, public relations or advertising. Attorneys representing media clients also may find this book helpful.

Media Law in Tennessee focuses on key principles growing out of court cases, rather than overwhelming readers with factual details and legal language from judges' opinions. Legal references are carefully documented in statute and case citations at the end of each chapter to make the book more useful for attorneys and others wishing to consult primary materials.

This third edition includes relevant statutes enacted by the Tennessee General Assembly through June 2001.
